Beta-Agonist ELISA

The β-agonist ELISA is used for the quantitative analysis of several β-agonists in tissue, feed, milk, plasma, bile, faeces, choroid/retina, hair, and urine samples. The total incubation time of the test is 90 (60 + 30) minutes.
The kit uses polyclonal rabbit antibody which show the following cross-reactivities: clenbuterol (100%), salbutamol (100%), bromobuterol (100%), cimbuterol (75%), mapenterol (70%), mabuterol (60%), tulobuterol (50%), clenpenterol (50%), clenproperol (50%), carbuterol (40%), terbutaline (40%), and cimaterol (10%).
The limit of detection (LOD) is 0.75 ng/g for urine (dilution), 0.1 ng/g for urine (extraction), 0.25 ng/g for faeces, liver, kidney, bile, plasma (extraction), 0.2 ng/g for muscle (extraction), 0.6 ng/g for retina (extraction), 10 ng/g for feed (extraction), and 0.03 ng/g for milk (extraction).
