Fluoroquinolones II ELISA

The fluoroquinolone II ELISA is used for the screening and quantitative analysis of a broad group of fluoroquinolone antibiotics in tissue (muscle, shrimps), honey, feed, serum and urine samples.
The kit uses a polyclonal rabbit antibody which shows the following cross-reactivities: norfloxacin (100%), enrofloxacin (84%), ciprofloxacin (91%), enoxacin (119%), marbofloxacin (113%), sarafloxacin (92%), fleroxacin (92%), difloxacin (105%), levofloxacin (173%), ofloxacin (62%), danofloxacin (47%), tosufloxacin (67%), pefloxacin (90%), gatifloxacin (16%), pazufloxacin (8%), oxolinic acid (9%), nalidixic acid (2%) and piromidic acid (<0.1%).
The limit of detection (LOD) is 3.6 ng/g for shrimps (extraction), 5.5 ng/g for muscle (extraction), 0.1 ng/g for honey (extraction), 15.3 ng/g for feed (extraction), 2.7 ng/g for serum (dilution), and 1.1 ng/g for urine samples (dilution).
