Beta-Agonist Fast Sensitive ELISA

The β-agonist fast sensitive ELISA is used for the quantitative analysis of several β-agonists in tissue, feed, milk, plasma, bile, faeces, choroid/retina, hair, and urine samples. The total incubation time of the test is 60 (30 + 30) minutes.

The kit uses a polyclonal rabbit antibody which shows the following cross-reactivities: clenbuterol (100%), salbutamol (100%), bromobuterol (100%), cimbuterol (75%), mapenterol (70%), mabuterol (60%), tulobuterol (50%), clenpenterol (50%), clenproperol (50%), carbuterol (40%), terbutaline (40%), and cimaterol (10%).

The limit of detection (LOD) is 0.05 ng/g for tissue (SPE extraction), 0.05 ng/g for liver (SPE extraction), 0.05 ng/g for serum and urine (SPE extraction), 0.2 ng/g for plasma, serum, urine (dilution 1 : 10), 1 ng/g for feed (SPE extraction) and 5 ng/g for feed (extraction).
